Following the tradition, the Faculty of Sport and Tourism provides scholarships for its best students. These scholarships are meant to motivate and support the initiative, creativity, dedication and efforts of our students. Scholarships are 20 to 50% of the tuition fee on all years of basic studies. The Faculty grants a maximum of 10 scholarship, with the exact number depending on the number of applicants.
Decision on scholarship is brought by the committee presided by the Dean of the Faculty, based on suggestions by the teachers and independent applications of the students. Among the criteria for scholarship award are primarily: participation in non-educational, promotional and socially responsible activities and projects of the faculty, initiation of own actions, participation in the work of the Student parliament, as well as the grade point average.
The Committee decides on the scholarships by the first work day of the summer semester (14.2.2011). Scholarship grant applications are handed in the Student support service until the last work day of the winter semester, at the latest (21.1.2011).
