The twenty-first century is the century of physical activity and natural environment. There is a need for the educated young people who would promote a healthy lifestyle, from schools to workplaces and sport clubs, which poses a challenge for both the students and our institution. According to the citation by the European Parliament, the significance of sport and physical education is on the increase. Virtually the same result was obtained in vojvodina, as well (Strategy of sport developemnt in Vojvodina, 2007). In this context, there is a need to create quality physical education characterised by children being included into physical education classes in a new and modern way, by giving teachers more freedom to apply new content. The key role in this process belongs to the teacher, who should possess a wide range of knowledge and abilities in complementary areas, as well as be familiar with the newest training methods and processes.

Tims is a home to the Functional diagnostic centre – tims.lab, which offers to its students of all ages and sport levels, but also to the fellow citizens, a wide range of services. Tims.lab is one of the leading centres of such kind in our country. The processes of testing, analysing and programming are lead by highly-qualified professors, assistants and top students of the Faculty in a pleasant environment and on state-of-the-art equipment. Among the clients of the laboratory are Serbia’s best athletes and sport clubs.
